My favorite cleaner

I love using Shaklee Basic H organic cleaner to clean my stamping supplies, (and everything else in site lol) It's so safe that you can even add it to your dogs water as a de-wormer or to your plants as a fertilizer! I never have to worry about my kids getting into it because it is perfectly safe for them. Not only is it very inexpensive, safe, and "green", it also WORKS wonderfully.

Here is one of my acrylic stamps straight out of the case, and then again after a "spa treatment" with Basic H. Like new! You can also use it right on your stamp scrubber but only use 1 squirt of the All Purpose formula otherwise it tends to suds up.

A 16 oz bottle of Basic H creates an unbelievable 48 gallons of super-safe, really powerful, all purpose cleaner. We challenge you to use it up any time soon to clean everything from spilled milk, to bug guts on the window, to splattered spaghetti sauce.

For all-purpose cleaning: (Each bottle costs only 3 cents!)
Add 1/4 tsp. to 16 oz. of water.

For windows and mirrors: (Each bottle costs only 1 cent!)
Add 1-2 drops to 16 oz. of water.

For degreasing: (Each bottle costs only 17 cents!)
Add 1 1/2 tsp. to 16 oz. of water. For bigger jobs, add 2 oz. to 1 gallon of water.

Here are two of my acrylic blocks, one of which I cleaned with Basic H.

I hope this information helps someone. I know I couldn't live without this stuff!

The theme for this months blog hop was to use a technique that you learned from another stamper. I learned most of what I know from my friend Kerry. She got me hooked on stamping AND hooked on PTI! One of the techniques she taught me was heat embossing, which is what I did on this card. I stamped the image on Hibiscus Burst cardstock, then heat embossed the rose and leaves and added glitter.

My Grandma just moved into a new house so I whipped her up this cute little "new house card."
I colored Packitupabella with my copics and cut her out with rectangle nestabilities. I traced the image while it was still in the nestie. I've been doing this a lot lately because it's easier than embossing. (I broke a B plate and a C plate in one week trying to get the perfect emboss on my image!) I used two toned satin ribbon and PTI buttons over the image. The yummy glittered paper is " Mimosa -Margarita" by SEI. mmmm I love margaritas. lol

I'm really loving Kraft lately. =D I colored this adorable Bella with my copics and then cut out the coat and boots and popped them up to add dimension. I added white fun flock to the fuzzy areas. I used a white sheer ribbon to tie a big bow, and added some lustre gems above it. I stamped the snowflakes and sentiment with Palette Fresh Snow ink. The gorgeous blue paper is from the Colorful Christmas collection.

The background of this card was done by first running white cardstock through my cuttlebug with the polkadot embossing folder. Then I lightly rubbed the ink pad over the dots until I got the look I wanted.

My 5 year old daughter loves to use my Cuttlebug, so I put her to work making a simple memory game.
She used 12 different scraps of patterned paper, and cut two butterflies out of each one while I cut squares out of Dark Chocolate cardstock. Then we glued the butterflies to the squares. So easy a 5 year old could do it! lol

Back again, yay! I've kind of been diggin' purple lately. It's never been one of my favorite colors, so I'm not sure why. I used PTI Plum Pudding cardstock for the base, and PTI Polkadot Parade paper for the clouds and envelope liner. OH, I'm also really loving the new Papertrey Ink dies. they are so much fun. I cut the balloons, clouds, and envelope liner with them. I colored the adorable balloons (Up, Up, and Away) and houses (Wonderfully Whimsical) with my Copic markers.

I love this dino! In fact I love all cutesy dinos. I have little boys, so I don't have much choice. lol I colored him with copics and cute him out. I inked the edges of the paper with PTI tea dye duo, and crumpled it up a few times to give it a worn look. The patterned paper is by My Mind's Eye (love them so.) I think the monsters are my favorite type of Paper Makeup stamps. They are so ugly that they're cute, AND they are tons of fun to color. I colored this guy with my Copics and used tea dye inks along the edges of the papers. For the sentiment, I stamped it on craft cardstock and covered it in Crackle Accents. Once it was dry I cut it out and glued it to the card. A fun and simple technique!

Welcome to another Makeup for the weekend Challenge! It is my turn to host and my challenge was to use "rainbow" colors. I LOVE color, and I LOVE the 80's so how can I NOT love rainbows??? My bff makes fun of me for it all the time. lol
I've been sick and not in the mood to color, so I paper pieced this dinosaur with rainbow paper by 3 bugs in a rug. Making a clear card was more challenging than I was expecting! Plus, if you use and ATG gun, once you stick it to the clear cardstock, it is NOT moving. lol I should've taken a picture of this car laying flat. All of the cardstock layers are lined up perfectly, and it looks really cute.

My youngest child is turning 5 on the 20th.

I really don't have babies anymore! I loooooved having babies, but having big kids has its perks too. My daughter is the apple of my eye. I'm going to do everything I can to keep our relationship close forever. Love her so much!!! Anyway........ I made these little invitations for her birthday. We are just doing it during our normal weekly playdate. Super easy. Makenna chose the colors and the stamp set. these are little A1 cards.
