This months i {heart} papers challenge is to use bling on your project. I wouldn't call that a "challenge", because who doesn't love to use bling??? I decided to do another picture frame because they are so much fun! First I painted it black and then I added a ton of embellishments. I was thinking of my 4 year old, Makenna, when I made this, so I had to add a blingy ladybug (her fave!) and an 'M'. These Zva crystal are SO easy to use, and super sparkly in real life. I couldn't find the perfect picture to put in the frame, so I just stuck a piece of cardstock in there for now. Next I added the little swirly wires, and the round tags. I got these from a friend, so I'm not sure where they're from. I added rhinestones to the middle of the swirls and to the bottom corner. Ok, my FAVORITE part of this frame..... THE SILK FLOWERS! OMG, they are SOOO FABULOUS. This is no prima flower, folks. (lol) They are very light, but almost have a puffy thickness to them. Love love love them. I need more!

How darling! I love it! Red and black is a fav color combo, and I also love ladybugs! I have a great friend Dottie, and when I see ladybugs it always reminds me of her!
Actually "I" don't like to use bling. It's just not my style. Although I certainly admire it on other people's projects. And this one is stunning. You packed a lot of pizzaz on this one project.
